Covid-19 preventive mesures

We at Fira Mediterrània want all of our users—whether artists, spectators or organisers—to feel safe in our spaces. This document contains the measures that are due to be implemented during the 23rd edition of the Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, which are conceived to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. These measures have been designed in accordance with applicable sanitary regulations, most of which require the collaboration of attendees at this year’s event.

  • Daily disinfection of all spaces after each performance, reinforcing all cleaning protocols.
  • Informative signs will be put up in all spaces, detailing the preventive measures that are being implemented, the direction that individuals must move in and reminders of the need to maintain social distancing. There will also be signs reminding individuals about the need to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel dispensers will be installed at the entrance to all spaces.
  • All individuals entering Fira spaces will be subject to temperature checks, using digital thermometers that avoid the need for physical contact.
  • Social distancing will be mandatory at the entrance to the different spaces.
  • Individuals will enter and leave the spaces in a staggered manner, which will be overseen by Fira staff. This is conceived to ensure social distancing.
  • The Fira’s schedule will not be available in a hard copy format. Information will only be available online.
  • Different entrances and exits will be opened in all spaces (where necessary) in order to help prevent crowding.
  • Concerts and events will not have breaks or intermissions. The maximum performance duration will be 90 minutes. Once the performance has finished, the audience will need to vacate the performance space.
  • Spaces will be ventilated before and after each performance, with the venue doors being left open to facilitate air flow.
  • There will be reduced capacity in order to facilitate social distancing.

If you’re planning on attending as a spectator or accredited professional:

  • We recommend buying your ticket online.
  • You are required to maintain social distancing in all spaces at La Fira, in accordance with current recommendations.
  • Face masks must be worn at all times in indoors and communal spaces.
  • People will enter and leave the various spaces in a staggered manner. Always follow the signage and indications provided by the event staff.
  • Follow the recommended routes.
  • Please refrain from touching surfaces and remember to wash your hands regularly (hydro-alcoholic gel dispensers are located at the entrances).
  • We recommend arriving at the performance space at least 20 minutes before the given start time, thus leaving enough time for these staggered entrances. If you do not arrive early, we cannot guarantee that you will be allocated the seat that you selected when purchasing your ticket.
  • We recommend downloading the ticket onto your phone, thus avoiding the handling of paper insofar as possible. In order to avoid crowds and long queues, we recommend purchasing your ticket online instead of at the ticket office.
  • If you think that you may have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus, please stay at home. We’ll see each other in a theatre or concert before you know it!
  • Please only occupy the seat that has been allocated to you.

We really appreciate your collaboration, as it helps to keep everyone healthy!
