Vicent Fibla | FESTIVAL EUFÒNIC
Eufònic is the festival of sound, visual and digital-performance arts that has been hosted in Terres de l’Ebre since 2012. Eufònic received the 2023 National Culture Prize, awarded by the CoNCA.

Marcel Pié | TALLER ESTAMPA
A collective of curators, filmmakers and researchers working in the audiovisual and digital-environment fields. Their practice is based on a critical and archaeological approach to audiovisual technologies, research into the tools and ideologies of artificial intelligence and the resources of experimental animation.

Beatriz Liebe | TEATRONIKA
The Teatronika project was launched in 2015 by Martí Sánchez-Fibla (researcher of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Pompeu Fabra University) with the aim of making five NAO robots (which until then had only played football) available to everyone so they could perform theatre scripts written by the entrants in the Teatronika competition. In 2018, Teatronika was established as an association for scientific and cultural dissemination by Beatriz Liebe, Gerald Kogler and Martí Sánchez-Fibla, with the aim of taking robots out of the laboratory and promoting scientific dissemination initiatives within a broader framework.

Enric Guaus | ESMUC
ESMUC runs the Technologies and Musical Interaction Research Group (Grup de Recerca en Tecnologies i Interacció Musical or TiIM). They are presenting nanAI, a tool for exploring the musical application of AI. The name is a reference to the phrase “Not a Number” and seeks to strike a balance between a process programmed in a machine capable of extracting strictly numerical relationships from music and a creative process that is based on strictly musical sensations and aesthetics. The aim is for the result of this dynamic not to be a mere number, but a NaN.
