Les Archipels
Accolades & Quiproquos
The Quebec company Les Archipels originated from a meeting between two traditional ballet dancers who wanted to investigate and approach more closely a contemporary form of language. In Accolades et quiproquos, which was premièred at the Tangente in Quebec, they embarked on the jig, the traditional dance of Quebec. Under its influence, they allowed themselves to be carried away by its hectic rhythm.
