Until the early twentieth century, a custom which was observed in the Valencian Region upon the death of a child under eight years old was the wake dance, and Guillem Sánchez returns to this, and re-interprets it in the form of visual theatre.  The aim is to reflect on the rites of bereavement and the desire to connect with a completely abstract being and an intangible reality.
